This 1998 dvd from the Toudi Kempo period demonstrates the application of exchange drills to stick fighting (long and short), stick/knife fighting, knife fighting and knife/hand fighting, as well as the priniciples of how to adapt such drills to virtually any other weapon.

These drills will also enhance synchronization, sense of interval of time, syncopation, etc. for use in any form of combat, armed or unarmed.
